It's beginning to look a lot like...

We were surprised this season with a new elf named Winona. Wyatt our former elf had to be relocated to Arizona. Winona happens to be a little naughty!

Snow Day

Home two hours early from school.. looks like we'll make the record for the SNOWIEST DECEMBER ever.
Yes, that is our AMAZING bus driver, John Matuszewski, holding the shovel and unloading Claudia. He shovels the way for Claudia right up to the house! Now that is more than Minnesota Nice!

37.1

We have been dumped on. Dumped with snow. Lots of snow.
Thirty-seven point one inches already leaving ONLY 3.6 inches until we reach the record for the snowiest December ever!

At times my branches do feel a little extra weight. Forty fingers to fit into gloves, eight feet to push into boots, one wheelchair to shovel out when stuck, and eight rosy cheeks to kiss.

Not much to do but honker down and enjoy the warmth of our abode. No one needs to fish our van out of a snow bank.

Coming your way

After two days of falling snow, it's finally leaving Minnesota and heading East.

Honestly, I'm not sure where we are going to put any more! This is our front yard, that light being a lamppost.

Inside, to honor the Saints we made a mountain of French Quarter Biegnets.

Snow Days

We have been cooped up in the house for a couple of days as the temperatures here in Rochester have been quite cold.  Some photos to share of our time indoors.

Finally, we have a little one on the move.  Vincent needed the right motivation and Claudia enjoys the chase.

She got away this time!
