Passing

To bring in the new year I decided it was time to let go of a few pieces of adaptive equipment. When you have a child who depends on such equipment for positioning and support it really becomes part of your daily life. The equipment is always overpriced and can become a huge endeavor to acquire. You have to prove that every piece of equipment is medically necessary which takes time and persistence. Bearing that in mind, it was great to be able to pass it on to someone who has a need.
It is certainly satisfying to think that we helped to make another family's journey in adaptive equipment a little less bumpy. Above are the boxes that traveled to Kansas, Texas, and Georgia.

Julie

My little Julianne is feeling punk today. She was up late and got sick several times in the night. We read a few stories this morning and then she was out... Vincent wasn't quite sure what do to today without his partner.

Should be Mother of Multiples Essentials

One frequent question that comes from expecting mothers of multiples is what do I need. Well, I'm speaking from experience when I say these three things really should be on your list.

1. Duct Tape

2. Super Glue
3. Magic Erasers

My deep thinker

So frequently this little one catches me in the midst of daily tasks with the big questions. They range from the traditional "Where do babies come from?" to the more obscure like "How do they make elevators?" She's a thinker.

Today was no different when she asked me "Where is God?" and then proceeded to ask if the balloons that we let go of get pushed back down by the people in heaven. Claudia, you make me smile with your ideas.
