Halloween on Phantom 2013
Halloween has fast become a favorite at our house. It could be that the kids get a kick out of pretending to be someone else or it could be the spooky surprises or more likely the candy. Whatever the reason the kids enjoy the holiday and so do I. Happy Halloween to YOU!

Costumes and Halloween 2012
With much delay, I present you with our costumed children. Fortune teller, Snow Fairy, Police Officer, and Merida from Brave (minus the red hair). The kids really enjoyed hunting for treats this year. All of them were able to access the doors and candy. There were no stairs to work around and the temperatures made it easy to hold a bucket full of candy minus the mittens. Hope your Halloween was just as delightful.

Halloween Eve
On the night before Halloween, the scraping began. Four had fun making a mess on the kitchen floor. They watched, touched, and smelled the wonderful pumpkin insides: seeds, slimy stringy orange goo, and chunks of meaty pumpkin wall.
Perhaps a favorite holiday, but the magic really is the time and memories we are carving out.
