It should be so...
It should be so
but some times it just is not
you want it to be
but it can not
be
Simple and carefree
It's been a rough couple of weeks with our Vincent. We love him so much. He is spunky and usually so full of energy. He is competitive and loves to win. It was quite surprising really to find him to be so down and discouraged. He is so young and bright with more talent than I have ever had. What can we do but to surround him with love and make him know that he is magnificently made just the way that he is...
and to hope that he will again be able to see
and feel that hope too.
and to hope that he will again be able to see
and feel that hope too.

Hope
When I can slow down my mind long enough to really look into my child's eyes and really see...
this absolutely amazing world that God has made..
the promises of hope and love are simply...
AMAZING!

Change
Here it is the latter half of May and I have not taken up a blog post since December.
No excuses.
We have been enjoying life, which has included a little travel, adventure, and some new beginnings. On our trip to Page, Arizona we learned quite a bit about change. That trip started at the Glen Canyon Dam and continued down the Colorado River and into surrounding Antelope Canyons.
It is absolutely breath-taking.
Both nature and man can make such an enormous impact.
During this time we have been blessed with wonderful friends who have travelled along with us and to us. They have been supportive by allowing us to lean on them and raise our child alongside theirs. They listen to our ramblings about schools and birthday parties. We are thankful for these friends who listen to our crazy ideas and help us to reason through to the best
solutions.
They knowingly or not have made a big impact on our lives.
There is really nothing more freeing than taking your family on an adventure.
It's not always blue skies and roses, some times it is wind and sand in your face, but we do our best to enjoy the present and live life to the fullest.
