Grandmas!

As you can see the girls had a wonderful weekend with the Grandmas.  We are very fortunate to have two Grandmas willing to travel across the midwest to spend time with the grandkids.  Rochesterfest took place this weekend so we enjoyed a little extra activity.  May I say, smoked turkey legs, Sound of Music, Dachshund races, freshly squeezed lemonade, moon glows, and corn on the cob.  And I can't forget to mention G. Martha's birthday and G. Jane's peppermint paddies.... yummm...

Baptism

The family

The Godmothers (Carrie and Kristen)

Just today we celebrated Julianne's and Vincent's Baptism.  We feel fortunate for the support of our family and friends, especially godparents Kristen, Carrie, Paul, and Brad.  Big sisters Claudia and Eloise have been great examples for their little brother and sister.  Despite the rain, we continue to find time for bike rides, park visits, sidewalk chalk, sandbox play, and gardening/flower watering.

Seeing double..

Seeing double?  Matt and I are starting to wonder if it's fatigue or really good luck!  Julianne and Vincent are doing well, growing, eating, and sleeping like they should.  Claudia and Eloise are becoming quite talented at entertaining one another.  (Thank you Barb T. for all of the oral motor toys!)  And thank goodness that we have a few reinforcements here to aid to our sleep deficit.  (Grandma Martha and Pappa John)  We have also been very blessed to have friends bring meals and good cheer to the house.  And we must say thank you to all of the long-distance friends and family that have been showering the babies with welcoming gifts!  (and thanks for the special Big sister treats)
