Successful Surgery

Brave little Claudia underwent a laparoscopic surgery to remove an ovarian cyst.  We are so grateful that it was all benign!  She was a star patient, impressing all the nurses and doctors with her medical knowledge.

Come on over to Adventureland..

 Never a dull moment!  Lucky for us, the Hazzards were able to share an adventure.  Meeting in the middle between Nebraska and Minnesota can land you right at Adventureland.  Just in time for the grand-opening of the water park.  The weather was ideal and the company a blast.  We won't mention in too much detail the little mishap that landed all the Ranks in the urgent care for two hours.  Vincent is still hoping to have his nail grow back.  Love being able to share my friendship with Randa through our  kids.  There is just something about knowing each other's stories.  Love you lots RQ.

End of preschool field trip

Vincent and Julianne enjoyed a great year of preschool.  Amazing how much they are learning and growing.  Won't be long before these two go to kindergarden.

A happy Mother's day

A good and wise friend of mine writes a blog which I love.  It gives me a window into her world and often times a needed adjustment on my perspective.  She wrote a recent post about mother's day and how she likes to give her children gifts on mother's day.  Her reversed gift-giving really helped me to appreciate the fact that my children have already given me the best gift ever of becoming a mom.  I didn't stop being a mom on mother's day in fact I helped little ones on the potty, found lost shoes, and fancied everyone up for their dance recital.  I love being a mom and I really am a backstage kind that loves "to do" with my kids.  Thanks kids for making me a mom and allowing me to mother you!
