Your story

This last week it hit me, when we were at a new doctor's office. The doctor was appropriately speaking to Eloise and taking her medical history. As I reflected later, I realized that my story of having twins and them coming early isn't really her story. When they are interviewing her they could care less that we have two sets of twins, etc. She is a healthy 16 year old. So much of our history has been intertwined but I can see that our threads are beginning to come apart. It wasn't a sad moment, more of a coming to terms and letting go moment. Eloise, Claudia, Vincent and Julianne all get to tell their own stories. I just hope to be part of the ride.
