There are so many days that Bliss literally loves us all to pieces. She is the best dog ever. Truly the closest my children have ever been to feeling God's love. #amazingdog

Duomo, Castello Sforzesco, Gelato, Piccione, Pasta, Pizza, Uova di cioccolato, cane...

My family was blessed beyond measure to experience Italy all together over spring break. Back in 1994-195, I was an exchange student with AFS. Of course, I was excited to see all the Italian wonders that I had read about back then. What I did not really plan on was gaining an Italian family for life.

My family graciously opened up their hearts and home to all six of us for the week. It was such a grand opportunity to reconnect and to know their current lives. There are new little ones to enjoy and memories to retell. It was truly amazing.

By visiting Italy in 1994, 1997, 2003, 2006 and now in 2019 I have witnessed the beautiful transformation that takes place in a family. Not all the changes are easy but the family remains and the love and growth is inspiring.
