Carrots

"That's the biggest carrot I have ever seen," shouts Eloise. Clearly we have been eating way too many baby carrots from the grocery.

Tomato Basil

Fresh ripe Roma tomatoes and sweet green basil straight from the garden mixed all together, and simmered real slow makes a delicious sauce.

Not over yet...

It was nice not to travel and just hang out at home this weekend. We enjoyed a good midwestern summer day with the backyard sprinkler and tasty popsicles.

Shuck your corn

Eloise and Claudia have a remarkable relationship. Rarely do they argue or tire of playing with one another. They each help the other in ways that no one else can. We have, however, reached a new level of sibling relations.

It starts like this:

Eloise: "Mom, do you know where my shoes are?"

Claudia: "Mom, do you know where my shoes are?"

Eloise: "Claudia, quit copying me!"

Claudia: "Claudia, quit copying me!"

Eloise: "Grrr.... stop it!"

Claudia: "Grr... stop it!"

Dad: "Girls! You are heading out to shuck the Corn!"

And so we have some nicely cleaned corn. It keeps getting more interesting.

Back to work but welcomed home

After several days of vacation, Daddy had to head back to work. The day was a little long without our Dado, but we sure are glad to see him at the end of the day.

T-Ball

Eloise and Claudia has a warm and sunny night to team up for T-ball. Both had several chances to bat and run all while meeting a few new classmates. Go Dolphins!

Lost at the Lake

We escaped up to the Brainerd area of Minnesota this past weekend and had a very relaxed fun time. Enjoy the photos.
